May we possess with
a pure heart, that
which we have taken
as food, O Lord.
And may the gift we
have received in this
life, be for our
salvation for all
eternity.
May your Body, O
Lord, which we have
eaten, and your
Blood which we have
drunk, cling to our
very souls, and grant
that no stain of sin
may be left in us,
now that we are
refreshed by this
pure and holy
sacrament.
