Here in the central United States we have just endured one of the coldest winters that I can remember. I've lived in Omaha for 44 years. We had temperatures of 20 below zero at one point. I look out the window of my house and see the trees which appear to be dead. They have no leaves. There is no green grass. The flowers are nowhere to be seen. But soon things will change...
Soon the flowers will bloom. The trees will sprout leaves. The colors of nature will explode with greens and reds and yellows. The temperatures will be warmer. The amount of light each day will increase. It will be Spring. The year is 1996. You are breathing, but you need to come to life.
This is the year for you to Spring To Life! Just as all of nature comes back to life, you need to come back to life. This is God's way of reminding you to come back to life with Him. You need to come to the light and the warmth of God. Your sins make you very cold. You are freezing. You need some color in your life.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus knows the Way. We are all lost and need someone to guide us. Jesus knows the Truth. He knows what is right and what is wrong. He knows the things that will lead you to Heaven. Jesus is the Life. Jesus is alive. To be with Jesus is to be alive. Jesus is your best friend. You are not alone.
Give your life to Jesus. You need Jesus in your life. Ask Jesus to come into your heart. Ask Jesus to forgive your sins. Come to Jesus. He is life. Pray to Him everyday. Please, read the Bible everyday. Read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These are the words of life. The light will come into your life. You need the warmth of God.
