I went to the doctor yesterday about a dark spot on my left ear.
He did a biopsy to see if it was skin cancer.
It might be melanoma .
He will let me know next week.
So pray for me.
Thanks.
It is a little scary,
but I can't say I'm overly worried about it.
I tell myself,
"You are going to die someday.
It will happen someday."
I don't think this is "my time",
but you never know.
God is in control.
If you have a dark spot on your skin,
you should have it checked out by a doctor.
Pray for the doctor and all the people in his office.
God bless them for helping me and others.

"I lift up my eyes toward the mountains;
whence shall help come to me?
My help is from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth."
Psalms 121:1-2

Go to the Lord.
Look to him for help.
He is right there for you.
He is the Lord of all creation.

Who do you call upon?
Who can save you?
Only Jesus.
Have faith in him.

Our lack of faith can block God's work.
Do you have complete confidence in Jesus?
He can do all things.
He can change the heart of sinners.
He can heal the sick.
Do you believe he can do it?
Have faith in Jesus Christ.
Expect a miracle.

It is in giving that you receive.
What better thing to share than Jesus?
He is so wonderful.

He is the Lord of all the universe.

This morning we had another
global virus attack .
My pager was going off at 5:10 AM
because of this problem where I work.
Pray that we get everything working again.
And pray for the people that caused this.

"But now, as you see, I am on my way to Jerusalem,
compelled by the Spirit and not knowing
what will happen to me there ---
except that the Holy Spirit has been warning me
from city to city that chains and hardships await me."
Acts 20:22-23

There will be difficulties in life.
People will cause you harm.
Know that the Holy Spirit is with you.
You can make it through.
Ask God for strength.
Ask him for wisdom.
The Spirit is with you.

There are angels all around us.
Call on them for help.
They are God's messengers.
Listen to them, if they bring you a message.
They are in the presence of Almighty God.
They give praise to him day and night.
Let us join them in praising the Lord.

These are two "simple" things that we could use.
Grace from God for your spiritual life
and peace for our soul.
Peace of mind is a wonderful thing.
When you know Jesus you have this peace.
He forgives your sins and removes guilt,
if you ask him.
He gives you grace for the journey.
Live the "simple" life.

Jesus was lifted up on a cross.
He died for us.
Judgment has come.
Evil has been driven out.
Are you with Jesus or not?
Do you love him and follow him?
Do you believe in him?
Look at the cross.
Be drawn to the cross.
See love like no other.

He will help them grow.

Praise people for things they have done well.
Use your voice to praise the Lord.

We got 3 or 4 inches of snow overnight.
I was just outside shoveling the sidewalk and driveway.
It is cold (16F) and a little windy!

Yesterday I went to Dr. Dunning for my annual physical.
The new techincal term is "poke".
They (Janet) poke you to get a blood sample.
Two people at their office were using this technical term.
God bless all the doctors there and all the staff.

"...how much more will the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal spirit
offered himself up unblemished to God,
cleanse our conscineces from dead works
to worship the living God!"

The blood of Christ was shed for us.
It can change us.
It has power to cleanse us.

Lately people in Omaha are reading Julie's Diary .
She is a news reporter on KETV Channel 7.
At the moment she is at Methodist Hospital
because of problems with her pregnancy.
She is expecting twin girls in February or March.
(Update: They were born on January 14th.)
If you read through her diary, she has been through a lot
and thanks people for their prayers.
Pray for her, Bill (husband), Will (2 year-old son)
and soon to be born twins.
Today is their 11th wedding anniversary.

"The people went out to see for themselves what had happened.
Coming on Jesus, they found the man
from whom the devils had departed
sitting at his feet dressed and in his full senses;
this sight terrified them.
They were told by witnesses
how the possessed man had been cured."
Luke 8:35-36

Sometimes we have to see things with our own eyes.
We ask ourselves, if it is really happening.
There is something about being there in person.
We just can't believe it.
God is that way.
He is full of surprises.
Come and see.
Be a witness to amazing things that happen.

He waits and waits for you to repent
and turn your life around.
Return to the Lord.

He has called you to do many things for him.
Be open to new things.
Fast and pray about it.

Last night I saw the fireworks in downtown Omaha .
I was close enough to feel them too.
Wow! They were great!

Whatever came to be in him, found life,
life for the light of men.
The light shines on in darkness,

Start this new year right.
Read the Word of God.
Read the Bible.
It is a new beginning.
It is new life.
Start over again.
Jesus is the Word of God.
He is light for this new year.
