"I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
Do you ever thank the Lord
with all my heart;
I will declare all your wondrous deeds."

"My brothers and sisters,
You will suffer.
count it pure joy
when you are involved in every sort of trial.
Realize that when your faith is tested
this makes for endurance.
Let endurance come to its perfection
so that you may be fully mature
and lacking in nothing."
James 1:2-4
There will be difficult times.
Call on the Lord.
He will help you.
Learn from the Lord Jesus who suffered so much.

as having reached the finish line.
I give no thought to what lies behind
but push on to what is ahead."

Look upward.
Focus on Jesus and your goal of heaven.

"Just after daybreak Jesus was standing on the shore,
They did not recognize the risen Jesus.
though none of the disciples knew it was Jesus.
He said to them,
'Children, have you caught anything to eat?'
'Not a thing,' they answered.
'Cast your net off to the starboard side,'
he suggested, 'and you will find something.'
So they made a cast, and took so many fish
that they could not haul the net in."
John 21:4-6
They still did not understand who he was.
They did not recognize his voice.
They tried to do things on their own.
They went back to their old way of life.
They had so much to learn.
We are the same as them.
Listen to the Lord.
Obey him and great things will happen.

"When they had eaten their meal,
Three times Jesus asked Peter if he loved him.
Jesus said to Simon Peter,
'Simon, son of John,
do you love me more than these?'
'Yes, Lord,' he said,
'you know that I love you.'
At which Jesus said,
'Feed my lambs.'"
John 21:15
Three times Peter had denied the Lord.
There are things in this life what need to be corrected.
Something is not right and needs to be set straight.

You need correction.
Tell the Lord that you love him.
Jesus, I love you.

"On the evening of the first day of the week,
It was Jesus.
even though the disciples had locked the doors

Jesus came and stood before them.
'Peace be with you,' he said.
When he had said this,
he showed them his hands and his side."

divided them four ways,
one for each soldier."

We should be very thankful.

"God said to him,
The Lord warns those who pile things up.
'You fool!
This very night your life shall be required of you.
To whom will all this piled-up wealth of yours go?'

who grows rich for himself
