I used the 3 HP Recovery DVDs

I think it destroyed my Windows XP system.
I am not sure if it did or not.
Windows XP would not start up later in the day.
I have to reinstall Windows XP today.
At the moment I'm using Vista.
I can boot my PC two ways.
I usually use Windows XP.
I don't really "like" Vista.
It is too "different."
I am not used to it.
It has too much security.
I tried running the 3 HP Recovery DVDs and
that failed too.
It could not read the DVDs in various places.
The 3 DVDs worked on November 17, 2006
to recover my PC then.
It seems I have to reinstall the OS every few months.
Vista just rebooted itself just now.
It has a mind of its own.
It wanted to install some updates.
It could have at least asked me --- yes or no.

I was woke up at about 2 AM this morning
"I am sure of this much:
We do get warnings in our life.
by a slow beeping sound.
I thought it was a smoke detector
with a weak battery,
so I tried to turn on a light in my bedroom
and the switch did not work.
It was a very strange feeling.
The electricity was not working.
I found a flashlight.
I keep 3 in the house.
The beeping was a carbon monoxide detector
that was on battery power
instead of the electricity from the house
in another room.
I pulled the battery out of the detector
and called
OPPD
which I have memorized 1-800-554-OPPD.
It is an automated phone system to report a power outage.
You hit the "one" key about 10 times and hang up.
The power came back on in about an hour and 10 minutes.
I had to reset most of the clocks in the house
with the time from my wristwatch
when I got up today.
that he who has begun
the good work in you
will carry it through to completion,
right up to the day of Christ Jesus."

Are you being faithful?
The Lord will return when we don't expect him.
Be ready.
Prepare yourself for the return of the light.
