I have Vista working with Microsoft Virtual PC now.

It has sound and connects to the Internet.
Virtual PC creates a file
that is about 9GB with all the Vista updates and
AVG Anti-Virus software installed.
You can copy the virtual machine very easily
and back it up to another hard drive.

I have it running Vista on my refurbished HP-dc5000s computer.
I'm fighting the connection to the Internet.
It does not work and I had it working before.
I think the Norton Anti-Virus is blocking it.
I will uninstall it and see.
I added a half a Gig of memory to speed it up.
Vista on the Virtual PC was very slow.
I bought a copy of Windows 98 Second Edition yesterday on ebay.com.
I will try to load that to Virtual PC in a few days.

AVG is very slow at

Then I can get rid of this huge Windows 98
computer I keep around the house for some strange reason.
