March, 2009

Jesus is coming soon
Prepare the way of the Lord

Jesus is the light of the world

Open your heart

God is love

Thank the Lord

(March 31, 2009 Tue 8:32 AM CDT)

I'm writing this on my laptop with ubuntu booted.
The keyboard is different.
I have 3 computers going now.
I'm not sure why.
I shut one down.
Now I only have two going.
I did figure out how to load Windows 7 Beta
and ubunbu.
I'm back on my main Windows XP PC now.
The keyboard on the laptop will take some getting used to.
I turned off my laptop.
To set up the dual boot for Windows 7 Beta and ubuntu
I used the information on this link .
It was not that hard.
It was interesting to be able to shrink the partition
on the Windows 7 Beta (and Vista) machine.
It would be nice to do that with Windows XP.
When the laptop boots I can select what I want to start.

I applied for a job at UNO in Omaha yesterday.
The job is in the College of Information Science.

A friend of a friend died yesterday in California.
It was a long illness.
Pray for them and their family and friends.
God be with them and comfort them
in their time of sorrow.

"I give thanks to my God every time I think of you ---
which is constantly, in every prayer I utter ---
rejoicing, as I plead on your behalf,
at the way you have all continually helped
promote the gospel from the very first day."
Philippians 1:3-5

Lift up your friends in prayer.
Intercede for them.
Petition God for them.
Ask God to bless them.

(March 30, 2009 Mon 6:23 AM CDT)

Yesterday I bought a new laptop .
It is hard to believe that it is my first laptop ever.
I can't explain it.
I am running it on the battery now to see how long it lasts.
I will create the recovery DVD and then reformat the hard drive
and install Windows 7 (200GB) and ubuntu (40GB) dual boot.

This is funny.
I have an email account on Yahoo.com.
When I CC myself it sends the email to the spam folder.
Yahoo considers Yahoo email to be spam.

"There are celestial bodies and there are terrestrial bodies.
The splendor of the celestial bodies is one thing,
that of the terrestrial another.
The sun has a splendor of its own, so has the moon,
and the stars have theirs.
Even among the stars, one differs from another in brightness.
So is it with the resurrection of the dead.
What is sown in the earth is subject to decay,
what rises is incorruptible.
What is sown is ignoble, what rises is glorious.
Weakness is sown, strength rises up.
A natural body is put down and
a spiritual body comes up."
1 Corinthians 15:40-44

You have the earth and you have heaven.
Which do you choose?
I recommend looking up to the stars.
Look to the Lord.
Expect awesome things.
Don't settle for just things you can see on this earth.
Look to the heavens.
Seek eternal life.

(March 29, 2009 Sun 8:21 AM CDT)

Yesterday I was working on a Perl program and
I typed "//" to make a comment statement.
The "//" is for Java.
A "#" is used for comments in Perl.
I am getting my computer languages mixed up.

This morning I am loading ubuntu to the
Microsoft Virtual PC on my XP PC.
I wonder if it will be fast enough.
Maybe I need a quad core PC
to run everything on one PC.
There is another option with ubuntu to
install it directly to the XP PC.

"When the apostles in Jerusalem heard
that Samaria had accepted the word of God,
they sent Peter and John to them.
The two went down to these people and
prayed that they might receive the Holy Spirit."
Acts 8:14-15

I pray that the Holy Spirit will come to you today.
You need the Spirit of the living God.
Be open to all the gifts that God has for you.
Jesus, send your Holy Spirit to me.
I want to be filled with your Spirit.
Thank you for hearing my prayer.

(March 28, 2009 Sat 9:45 AM CDT)

Last night I was working on my resume
with my friend from California.

Yesterday I talked to someone about a C# job
in Lincoln, Nebraska about 50 miles southwest of Omaha.
A job is a job, but I would like to stay in Omaha.
I don't want to drive up and down I-80 each weekday
like many people do.

I gave my old 22-inch monitor away yesterday
since I don't need 2 monitors.
It frees up some space on my desk.

Yesterday I bought an Italian cream cake at Sam's Club.
It is made by The Cheesecake Factory .
Someone on Tuesday at the Olive Garden recommended it.
It is great.
I need to find a job so I don't shop too much
and so I don't eat too much.

"Many have undertaken to compile a narrative
of the events which have been fulfilled in our midst,
precisely as those events were transmitted to us
by the original eyewitnesses and ministers of the word."
Luke 1:1-2

These people saw some amazing things.
They heard Jesus speak in person.
They wanted to capture it somehow.
They wrote it down for you to read.
Read what they wrote.

(March 27, 2009 Fri 7:16 AM CDT)

There is one big problem with Unix/Linux systems.
It is the storage of dates.
The maximum date is January 19, 2038 .
Someone has to fix this.
It is a huge issue.

I bought a KVM Switch
on Wednesday from DIT Computers.
I really did not need to buy a new monitor.
I can flip one monitor now between my two computers.

I'm still studying the Java bytecode .
There is a lot to read.

"I am writing you this second letter, dear friends,
intending them both as reminders
urging you to sincerity of outlook."
2 Peter 3:1

God has written you a letter.
It is the Bible.
It is for you and me.
It is a road map that leads to eternal life.

(March 26, 2009 Thu 6:18 AM CDT and 2:19 PM CDT)

You can read the Java book that I am reading online.
It is all there.
I did not have to buy the book.
Well, it is easier to read a printed book
instead of reading a computer screen.
I am reading chapter 6 today.

I went to see Dr. Dowell yesterday.
He said the pressure in my eyes was 19 and 19 mm
which is normal range.
He was in a new building at 82nd and Center
with lots of new people there and machines.
God bless them all as they help people with their eyesight.

"My prayer is that your love may more and more abound,
both in understanding and wealth of experience,
so that with a clear conscience and blameless conduct
you may learn to value the things that really matter,
up to the very day of Christ."
Philippians 1:9-10

I'm praying for you today.
I want you to be the best that you can be
in the eyes of Christ.
God bless you.

(March 25, 2009 Wed 6:44 AM and 8:29 AM CDT)

Last night I went to a retirement dinner
with some friends at Olive Garden
on 75th and Dodge in Omaha.
The salad and breadsticks are awesome.
Who cares about the main dish?
I had the Tour of Italy
which most of it is in my refrigerator.
They gave us a dessert for free for the celebration.
I picked tiramisu which I did not care for.
I will have to try something else next time I retire.
A very good time was had by all.

"Jesus, aware of all that would happen to him,
stepped forward and said to them,
'Who is it you want?'
'Jesus the Nazorean,' they replied.
'I am he,' he answered.
(Now Judas, the one who was to hand him over,
was there with them.)
As Jesus said to them, 'I am he,'
they retreated slightly and fell to the ground."
John 18:4-6

Well, he is God.
They fell down in his presence.
He was very powerful.
He could call thousands of angels to defend him.
He knew what was going to happen.
He still continued.
It is hard to explain.
It is an amazing love that God has for us.
Why would he suffer and die for us?

(March 24, 2009 Tue 6:13 AM and 8:29 AM CDT)

I told you.
It is dangerous having too much time.
I bought a new 24-inch Samsung monitor yesterday
at Sam's Club.
I put it on my main Windows XP PC.
I will recycle my old huge heavy 18-inch CRT monitor at Best Buy .

I learned yesterday that many of the streets in Boys Town are blocked.
I was trying to get to the post office near 144th and West Dodge Road.
I kept hitting dead-ends.
You have to come in from 144th Street.

I am on chapter 3 of the Java book.
It does not move very fast so far.

This is funny.
A few days ago I bought a stapler at Staples .
I bought some white-out and it turned out
to be buff (tan) colored.
Say what?
It is suppose to be white.
White is in the name.

This morning I need to update my resume.
My friend in California is helping me edit it.

"While Jesus was still speaking a crowd came,
led by the man named Judas, one of the Twelve.
He approached Jesus to embrace him.
Jesus said to him,
'Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?'"
Luke 22:47-48

It is sad.
It is a very sad moment in human history.
Judas betrayed Jesus.
He was a friend of Jesus.
We can learn from this.
Be faithful.
Be a friend.
Do what is right.

(March 23, 2009 Mon 6:36 AM CDT)

I put the 22-inch monitor on the ubuntu PC this morning.
It gives me a lot more real estate to see things.
I am trying to use it like I would use my Windows XP PC.

Jesus said,
"The greatest among you will be the one who serves the rest.
Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled,
but whoever humbles himself shall be exalted."
Matthew 23:11-12

Be great in the eyes of the Lord.
Serve others.
Be of service.
Help others.
Think of others.
The Lord will bless your efforts.

(March 22, 2009 Sun 7:29 AM CDT)

I am writing this on my ubuntu PC.
Might as well.
It does about everything that I need.

Yesterday I went for a walk at the Crossroads Mall.
They have closed the second floor off.
You can't get up there anymore.
The food court is closed.
It is having a hard time.

Yesterday was my famous sister-in-law's birthday.
I got to meet many of her relatives.
Wonderful people.
God bless them all.

Yesterday on my ubuntu PC I loaded mysql and phpmyadmin .
Very cool.
I definitely have to learn more about PHP.
I built an inventory database and created a book table
and added a few of my books that I could find.
It took about 10 minutes to do that.
Amazing.

I just did a backup of ubuntu to an extra hard drive.
It treats the NTFS formatted hard drive
just like any Linux/Unix file system.
And I just copied the backup of ubuntu to my 16GB thumb drive.
It does incremental backups after the initial full backup.
It takes just a few seconds to do the incremental backup.

There is only 0.5 GB of memory in the ubuntu PC.
The main hard drive is 40GB.
I have used 10GB of it so far.

"Take care, my brothers and sisters,
lest any of you have an evil and unfaithful spirit
and fall away from the living God.
Encourage one another daily
while it is still today,
so that no one grows hardened
by the deceit of sin."
Hebrews 3:12-13

Be careful.
Sin is there.
It can destroy you.
Check yourself.
Be part of a Christian community.
You need teamwork.
Encourage one another in the faith.

(Note: I spell checked this in OpenOffice 2.4.)

(March 21, 2009 Sat 9:10 AM CDT)

The FedEx package arrived in Denver yesterday at 9:13 AM.

I usually watch How the Earth was Made
each week on the History Channel.
I videotape 6 hours of the History on Tuesday nights
and then check each program.

I installed Apache2 for ubuntu yesterday.
I had it working.
I changed the index.html file located at /var/www/index.html.
I did a find on the entire hard drive to find the index.html.
There was probably an easier way to find it.
I got the CGI pages working also.
I was reading about favicon.ico
so I installed one for Spring 2 Life.
It is the blue ball on the tabs in some browsers.
Apache was getting an error that
it could not find the file favicon.ico.

I installed sbackup for ubuntu.
Then I backed up the hard drive.
I tried to back it up with Acronis and it would not work.
It said there were errors in the ext3 Linux partition.
I ran a "fsck /dev/sda1" command to fix the partition
and the error still did not go away.

A new book for Java arrived yesterday.
It is titled Teach Yourself Programming with Java in 24 Hours .

"That is why I kneel before the Father
from whom every family in heaven
and on earth takes its name;
and I pray that he will bestow on you
gifts in keeping with the riches of his glory.
May he strengthen you inwardly through
the working of his Spirit.
May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith,
and may charity be the root
and foundation of your life."
Ephesians 3:14-17

There are many gifts.
God has much to give to you.
God has much to share with you.
Be open to receive them.

(March 20, 2009 Fri 6:44 AM CDT)

This morning I am looking at the Bytecode Visualizer .
It was written by some people in Germany.
It displays the bytecode inside of Java classes.
I need to study up on Java.
Hopefully this will help me understand Java better.

Yesterday I loaded new versions of Java on my PC and ubuntu PC.
It is easy to update the ubuntu PC.
The command is "sudo apt-get install ksh"
for example to install the ksh (Korn-shell) .
I like the ksh.
I updated the version of Eclipse .

That FedEx package I sent Wednesday is in
"MEMPHIS, TN" it says on its way to Denver today.

Many, many years ago I had a software company named
Jimmy Software, Inc..
I tried to write a mainframe TSO editor for the Apple II .
There's a history lesson for you.
I wrote it in machine language for the 6502 microprocessor.
Someone has taken that web site www.jimmysoftware.com.
How could that happen?
How could you possibly top the name Jimmy Software, Inc.?

When I was at Costco in Omaha yesterday this video was playing
on some of the HD TVs there starting a 2:30:
Gravity
It should start playing at that point in the video.
The lights are interesting to watch.
Nice song by Sara.

It is the first day of spring I do believe,
so I took 3 pictures of the sunrise here in Omaha
a few minutes ago.
Yes, the equinox was at 11:44 GMT (6:44 AM CDT) today.

You can see the silver maples are budding
and making me sneeze like crazy lately.
I am surrounded by 6 silver maples.

"Jesus spoke to them again:
'I am the light of the world.
No follower of mine shall ever walk in darkness;
no, they shall possess the light of life.'"
John 8:12

You see the bright colored lights going by.
You see the world spinning around.
You feel the gravity of the situation.
You can sense you are alive.
I pray that you find life in Jesus that never ends.

(March 19, 2009 Thu 6:22 AM CDT and 8:30 AM CDT)

I mailed in my pension application with FedEx yesterday.
It only cost $13.38 for two-day delivery.
I am tracking the package as it goes to Denver.

I downloaded and installed
Visual Studio 2008 yesterday.
You can trial it for 90 days.
It took about 4 hours to download it, burn a DVD
and install the software.
I just was testing it with
my Sudoku program and it is working fine.

I just sold some Citigroup stock for $3.7701 a share.
I bought it yesterday for $3.11 a share.
Not too bad for a few hours (+21%).
It is a very wild stock so far today.

Jesus taught,
"But woe to you rich, for your consolation is now.
Woe to you who are full; you shall go hungry."
Luke 6:24-25

I'm on page 1215 of my Bible.
It is hard to read these words.
I have way too much to eat and many nice things.
The words are for me and you.
Pray for me to do the will of God.
I pray that you will be led by the Spirit of God.

(Note: To spell check this I use Yahoo Mail.
I cut and paste the text into a new email message.
Then click on the Spelling button.)

(March 18, 2009 Wed 6:24 AM CDT)

Yesterday was a beautiful California day
(about 70F degrees) in Omaha.
Very nice.
I am sneezing this morning.
It is springtime.
Yesterday I went down to SFH early at 1 PM.
I have lots of time now to volunteer and help.

What are my goals for today?
I think I will rewrite my Sudoku program from C# into Java.
There is much demand for Java programmers around town.
I need some practice.

"The Lord continued to work with them
throughout and confirm the message
through the signs which accompanied them."
Mark 16:20

There should be something different about a Christian person.
You should see the sign.
What does the sign say?
What is the message?

(March 17, 2009 Tue 9:57 AM CDT)

Yesterday I loaded ubuntu on my dc5000 PC.
It is impressive.
It is free.
And it works.
It saw my new network card.
It recognized my thumb drive when I inserted it.
It uses the Firefox browser.
Amazing.

I got a haircut this morning at the Westroads Mall
and my two black eyes are gone,
so I should be ready to go to a job interview if I get one.

"Draw close to God,
and he will draw close to you."
James 4:8

Stay near to the Lord.
If you seek to learn more, he will tell you.
Make time to spend with him.
Get to know him.
There is much to learn.

(March 16, 2009 Mon 6:19 AM CDT)

This morning I am loading Fedora 6 on my dc5000 PC.
It is not the most current version of Fedora.
I just wanted to see what it looked like
and if it can connect to the Internet.
I could not get Red Hat 8 to connect to the Internet
for some reason.
I bought a new PCI network card and it still would not connect.

I watched Ed Slott the other day on Iowa PBS.
He had some good points about Roth IRAs and life insurance.

"Therefore Jesus is always able to save those
who approach God through him,
since he forever lives to make intercession for them."
Hebrews 7:25

Jesus is on your side.
He is fighting for you.
You have a wonderful friend in him.
He is always faithful.

(March 15, 2009 Sun 8:10 AM CDT)

I just checked the Powerball Numbers for yesterday.
I did not win, so I got to keep looking for a job.
The odds are "only" 195,249,054 to 1 of winning.
I usually buy 5 quick picks at the grocery store on Saturdays.
I went to the car wash yesterday after the grocery store.
My car was unbelievably dirty.
The attendant signaled to put the car in neutral.
I looked down and it looked like it was in neutral already.
The car was rolling forward and was going to hit the car
ahead of me on the car wash tracks.
The attendant hit my windshield with his hand.
I hope he did not hurt his hand.
He was yelling at me to put it in neutral.
I finally got it shifted to neutral.
Sorry.
My eyesight keeps getting weaker.
I have a terrible time with reading the fine print lately.
I bought a copy of Microsoft Office 2003 from some guy on ebay.com.
It is not the current version of Microsoft Office.
It is an old version.
What he sent me was an illegal copy.
It is meant to be sold with a new PC.
I did not buy a new PC.
Maybe I should buy a new PC.
I have to send it back to him and request my $99.00 back.
I need my own copy here at home.
I used it at work all the time.
I also need a copy of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 .
This web site has a trial copy for 90 days.
It is very expensive software to purchase.

"Who will separate us from the love of Christ?"
Romans 8:35

Really.
I mean it.
Stay focused.
The love of Christ should be central to your life.
Stay near the Lord.
Do not let the things of this world get in the way
of your relationship with Christ.

(March 14, 2009 Sat 10:07 AM CDT)

Here is what the newspaper said about Tuesday
when I lost my job .
The number that I saw was 49 and not 50 that were let go.
I wrote up a resume yesterday and sent it in.
Maybe I can get another job.

"I know this much:
I was blind before;
now I can see."
John 9:25

Jesus, open our eyes.
We need to see the truth.
We need to see what is important in this life.
Help us to see, Lord.

(March 13, 2009 Fri 6:34 AM CDT)

It is Friday the 13th.
Some people who have lost their job would say:
Woe is me .
I say:
It is a new and exciting day.
There is so many possibilities.
I expect great things.
The Lord is with me.
He is sending me on a new adventure.
Maybe he wants me to work for a new company
with all kinds of new people.
There are job openings.
There was one for a Perl programmer .
I could do that.
Do I want to go back to work so soon?
I looked for jobs at UP.com and there were none.
I want to work there but the Lord says "No" apparently.
Maybe he wants me to start my own company.
Maybe he wants me to volunteer and help SFH and other places.
Maybe he wants me to write a book.
On Tuesday when I cleaned out my cube at work
I brought home this T-shirt that I was going to donate to SFH.
This morning I am wearing the T-shirt.
It is black with orange words on it.
It looks terrible on me.
Here is what it says:

Sorry, I tried the hold the camera still, but it blurred.
I need to change a setting on the camera to speed it up
but I don't know how to do that.
It came from a Microsoft seminar
that I attended on 1-18-2007 at the Qwest Center in Omaha.
Are you ready for a new day?
One of my thoughts for today is
to go out and buy a new American car.
I lost my job and I go buy a new car.
Don't make much sense, does it?
Maybe I could get two cars for one.
I heard about someone in another state
saying buy one car and get a second one for a $1.
I saw it on HLN but I can't find it now.

Jesus said to him:
"Today salvation has come to this house,
for this is what it means to be a son of Abraham.
The Son of Man has come to search out
and save what was lost."
Luke 19:9-10

It may be hard to believe,
but knowing Jesus is worth more
than all the money in the world.
He controls the entire universe.
Learn all about him.
He is your salvation.

(March 12, 2009 Thu 10:42 AM CDT)

This morning I am reading about
Nebraska Unemployment Benefits .
I made over $308.00 this week, so I can't apply.
$308.00 is the maximum weekly benefit per week.
You can receive it for a maximum of 26 weeks it says.

I was driving down Dodge Street on the new pavement
this morning around 6:45 AM and I was tired.
I did not feel like that on Tuesday morning at the same time.
Losing your job knocks the wind out of you.
It is stressful.
It is hard to sleep at night.
I keep telling myself that everything will be fine,
but my body says everything has changed.
I guess it is a defense mechanism.

I bought some shares of GE yesterday for 8.5699 a share
and sold it today for 9.3801 a share.
I made over $308 times 2.
I guess that would disqualify me also.
If I could buy and sell stocks each weekday,
and make $308 daily that would be about $80K per year.
I could live on that.

Yesterday some guy from ELM Locating and Utilities was
painting my backyard with orange spray paint.
Here let me take some pictures and show you.
Please stand by...
Wow --- it is cold out there.
I took 8 pictures.
Now I have to edit them.
I picked out three of them so you can see.

The grass looks bleak.
I hope they don't dig up my whole backyard.

Yesterday on my first day of unemployment
I could not type a capital "M" at one point.
The left shift key went dead on me.
That has never happened before ever.
I flipped keyboards between my two PCs and
the left shift key works fine on both of them now.
Very strange.
Now you explain that.

"After that Jesus was seen by 500 brothers at once,
most of whom are still alive,
although some have fallen asleep."
1 Corinthians 15:6

There were many witnesses to Jesus being raised from the dead.
He died on the cross and arose on the third day from the grave.
It is hard to believe, but it is true.
Over 500 saw him on the occasion noted above.
Many people died for their faith in Jesus.
They saw and believed.

(March 11, 2009 Wed 6:30 AM CDT)

Yesterday at 8:30 AM I found that it was my last day of work.
I spent the day cleaning out my cube and talking to people.
It is shocking to live through it.
It is hard on your system.
I am unemployed.
I am off on a new adventure wherever the Lord wants me to go.
Pray for me and the other people who have lost their job.

To this Jesus replied:
"Leave her alone.
Let her keep it against the day
they prepare me for burial.
The poor you always have with you,
but me you will not always have."
John 12:7-8

Stay near to Jesus.
Be in his presence.
Get to know him today.
Time is short.

(March 10, 2009 Tue 6:20 AM CDT)

I look like a raccoon today.
I have two black eyes as a side effect of the surgery.

Jesus said,
"Pay close attention to what I tell you:
the Son of Man must be delivered
into the hands of men."
Luke 9:44

Jesus knew that he would suffer.
He would be put to death.
He continued.
He did it because he loves you.
He gets your attention.

(March 9, 2009 Mon 6:27 AM CDT)

Jesus said,
"Ask, and you will receive.
Seek, and you will find.
Knock, and it will be opened to you.
For the one who asks, receives.
The one who seeks, finds.
The one who knocks, enters."
Matthew 7:7-8

You have to do something.
It is called an active faith.
Act on your faith.
Take the step of faith.
Jesus, take my hand.
Lead me.

(March 8, 2009 Sun 8:50 AM CDT)

It was a perfect day for a funeral yesterday ---
dreary, overcast, cold, windy, etc.
I learned a little bit about my friend's mom.
She had a great faith for the Lord Jesus.
It was a time of celebration of a wonderful life.
She will be missed.

This was one of the readings from yesterday.

"But the souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them."
Wisdom 3:1

Maybe you have lost someone close recently.
Put them in the hands of the Lord.
He is salvation.
He is life.
Death is not the end.
It is a new beginning.

(March 6, 2009 Fri 6:17 AM CST)

Yesterday I went to see Dr. Watts.
He removed a lipoma from my forehead.
He had two assistants help him with the procedure.
I have a big bandage on it now.
I saw the pieces of the fatty tissue that was removed.
The doctor did not know what causes this to grow in that spot.
God bless the doctor and everyone in his office.

"You, however, are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people he claims for his own
to proclaim the glorious works
of the One who called you
from darkness into his marvelous light."
1 Peter 2:9

You are special.
You have been chosen.
He calls on you.
You are a child of God.
Your Father is in heaven.
See his marvelous light.

(March 5, 2009 Thu 6:14 AM CST)

Pray for a friend of mine at Siena/Francis House.
Her mom passed away yesterday.
God bless her and her family.

My sister-in-law was in the newspaper on 2-28-2009.
She is famous.

"They have refreshed my spirit as they did yours.
You should recognize the worth of such people."
1 Corinthians 16:18

Be a fresh spirit in your community.
Share the love and life of Christ.
Be a blessing.
You have great worth.
God bless you.

(March 4, 2009 Wed 6:24 AM CST)

"In support of his testimony Peter used many other arguments,
and kept urging,
'Save yourselves from this generation
which has gone astray.'
Those who accepted his message were baptized;
some three thousand were added that day."
Acts 2:40-41

We pray for many to come to know Jesus.
That they will hear the good news and respond.
Jesus, come into their lives today.
We pray for more that 3,000 to be added today.
Touch their lives, Lord.

"Six days later,
Jesus took Peter, James and John
off by themselves with him and
led them up a high mountain.
He was transfigured before their eyes
and his clothes became dazzling white ---
whiter than the work of any bleacher
could make them."
Mark 9:2-3

Jesus is God.
He is one of the 3 persons of the Trinity.
He is fully human and fully God.
He was amazing to watch in action.
Jesus is brilliant.

The Stock Market is hitting 12 year lows
and maybe more today.
My car is 12 years old.
Interesting coincidence.
The picture is from 9-3-2005 at Boys Town, Nebraska.
Wow... I used to take a lot of pictures back in 2005.
My car just passed 127,000 miles yesterday.

"Do not, then, surrender your confidence;
it will have great reward.
You need patience to do God's will and
receive what he has promised."
Hebrews 10:35-36

It takes time.
The Lord sees the big picture.
The Lord will take care of you and your family.
Trust in him.
Have confidence.
One day the stock market will be gone,
but the Lord will be here for all time.
He has promised to never ever leave you.
