Last evening at the Westroads Mall there was a lot of people.
It was very crowded.
If you had claustrophobia, you would not have survived.
They had trick-or-treat for the kids.

Jesus taught,
"Seek first his kingship over you,
his way of holiness, and all these things
will be given you besides.
Enough, then, of worrying about tomorrow.
Let tomorrow take care of itself.
Today has troubles enough of its own."
Matthew 6:33-34

Time management.
Focus on today.
The Lord calls you to look to him.
He will show you what to do.
Now is the moment.

My brother had surgery on his knee on Wednesday.
Pray for him and his family.

The cross you carry is heavy.
It is a burden.

Seek the Lord for guidance.

Yesterday I made brownies and a lemon/lemon cake.
I cut up the brownies and froze everything.

My car hit 134,000 miles yesterday
near 84th and Cass Streets in Omaha.
It is still going strong.

Depend on Jesus.
Look to him for your support.
He came to help you and me.
He loves you very much.
Have trust in him.

I just talked to someone that has macular degeneration .
They lived in the neighborhood where I grew up.
They were on my newspaper route.
Pray for them and their family.

Yesterday I started chapter 9 of the SCJP book.

"That night the Lord appeared at Paul's side and said:
'Keep up your courage!
Just as you have given testimony to me here in Jerusalem,
so must you do in Rome.'"
Acts 23:11

Keep the faith.
Hang in there.
The Lord is going to send you to new places.
Have courage to do the right thing.
The Lord is with you.

I had to move all the bags of leaves
out of the garage to the driveway yesterday.

They did not have organ music at church yesterday at 5:30 PM.
I'm not sure why.
This has happened before.
It is noticeably quiet without them.
Something is missing.

There are about 20 bags in the garage.
You can smell them.

Ask Jesus for direction.
Ask him for guidance.
He will lead you to accomplish great things
for the kingdom of God.

I learned that there are 6 models

He said it takes a computer genius to run different things.

One of the people I met yesterday

I met someone yesterday.
They said their dad had passed away
and the funeral was in Minnesota today.
I told her about my dad that also is gone.
It is hard on their birthday
since they are not around anymore.
So pray for her and her family.

I was standing outside in the cold and rain yesterday
on my part-time job for about 5 hours.
I did meet a few people that I knew.
You have to dress warm.

"The next day, when John caught sight
of Jesus coming toward him, he exclaimed:
'Look! There is the Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world!'"

Jesus was innocent.
He was without sin.
He died for you and me.

Here's a funny video I was just watching.

I smelled paint when I got home last night.
The new neighbors painted their house yesterday.
They had a painting party with many people helping.
It was a team effort.

Yesterday was my first day on a part-time job.
It is just 20 hours per week.
I signed my name about 20 times on all the forms.
It is something to do to get out of the house
and meet some new people.
God bless everyone there and their families.

One person landed a job in a law office.

I started chapter 7 of SCJP book yesterday.

I have another job interview tomorrow.

I forgot to go to a dinner last night at a church.
I am like losing it.
I did not look at my calendar yesterday.
How could I forget?
I almost forgot that today is my dad's birthday.
I did remember that yesterday afternoon.

I have a job interview tomorrow.
You would think I'd be an expert
on going on job interviews by now.

Well, half the snow is gone.
Yesterday was a bizarre day
with snow and sunshine.
The newspaper said it once snowed
very early on September 29, 1985.
I don't remember it.
It was before the Internet was around.

"Jesus withdrew from them about a stone's throw,
then went down on his knees and prayed these words:
'Father, if it is your will,
take this cup from me;
yet not my will but yours be done.'"
Luke 22:41-42

Take time to pray.
Pray on your knees.
Pray to your Father in heaven.
Do the will of God.
It will not be easy.
Prayer is needed.

I did have the interview yesterday.
They want to train someone in Openlink Endur .
I have never heard of it before.
It has to do with energy commodities trading.
It sounds very complicated.

Give a report to Jesus.
How are things going?
Are you making an impact on those around you?
Is it positive?
Be open to what Jesus asks of you.
Ask for endurance.

Believe in Jesus.
He will save you.
He is the answer to your prayers.
Receive this good news with joy.

I started chapter 5 of the SCJP book yesterday.
Some of the test questions are very hard.

"In support of his testimony
Peter used many other arguments,

Read the Bible daily.
Know what Jesus has said.
Defend the truth.
Point people in the right direction.

Last night at 6:45 PM I found
a $10 bill at the Westroads Mall.
It was right there on the floor
in plain sight on level one
for anyone to pick up.
You know what that means ---
the people that lost the money
made a donation to the SFH .
God bless them for their donation.
And later I found 13 cents
by the candy vending machines.
I was studying the vending machines
as a business possibility.

"With God there is no favoritism."

We are all God's children.
He loves each of us.
Return this love to your Father.
He provides for all your needs.

It looks different outside this morning.
I had my 3 silver maple trees trimmed yesterday.
It looked like fun climbing the trees with ropes
and cutting up branches with the power saws.
The grinder can grind up logs 1 foot in diameter.
I've never seen that before.

I keep reading Chapter 4 of the SCJP book.
It was trying to explain the modifiers:
public, private, protected, and the default package access.

"We do indeed live in the body but
we do not wage war with human resources.
The weapons of our warfare are not merely human.
They possess God's power for
the destruction of strongholds."
2 Corinthians 10:3-4

God has given you power.
You can live a holy life.
Lean on the Lord.
Call on the name of Jesus.
There is power in his name.
Do what is right.

that needs surgery from burns.
God bless him and heal him.

I had oatmeal yesterday for the first time
since I was a little kid.
It smelled like a cinnamon roll
but did not taste like a cinnamon roll.
I don't care for it.

I applied for my driver's license yesterday.
You have to read many signs in the office
to figure out what to do.
Then they give you a piece of paper for a temporary license.
The real license comes to you in a few weeks.
They now use face recognition software
to cut down on fraud.

Jesus prayed,
"I pray also for those
who will believe in me through their word,
that all may be one as you, Father,
are in me, and I in you;
I pray that they may be one in us,
that the world may believe that you sent me."
John 17:20-21

Be one with the Lord.
He is praying for you.
He wants unity of the Spirit.
Believe in Jesus.
Recognize his face.
