I had a dream last night that I found a job.
I had to learn all kinds of new things.

"My God in turn will supply your needs fully,

Trust in the Lord.
He will take care of you.
He will lead you.
He will bless you.
Give glory to God.

I just found out by reading Facebook
that another friend of mine
lost their job on Tuesday.
I just sent them a message.
Five people in one week.

I ordered this book yesterday.
Programming WCF Services
I have studied WCF before
on August 4, 2009 in a different book.

The power of God is alive.

Yesterday I found out that
a networking friend of mine found a job.
She is going to work at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, Nebraska.
She was excited.
It took her 9 months to find the job.
She found it by networking.
God bless her and her family.

'He has gone to a sinner's house as a guest.'

The book of Esther keeps popping up.
It was in the crossword puzzle for Feb 16, 2010 .
The clue for 47 DOWN:
Her book is read during the Jewish holiday Purim.
It was one of the readings at church this morning.
A friend of mine at SFH has studied the book.
I do not know much about this book.

Jesus taught,
"The heavens and the earth will pass away
but my words will not pass."
Matthew 24:35

Read the Bible.
Study the Bible.
There is much to learn.
These are eternal words.

There are four people that I know
from where I used to work
that lost their jobs yesterday.
It is hard.
Pray for them and their families.

Last evening I went to .NET meeting on
Microsoft SharePoint 2010 .
If I knew SharePoint
that would be great on a resume they say.

I took a 75 minute logic test this morning for SetFocus .
They said I passed the test.
Great!
Or maybe not great.
There is a lot of discussion about SetFocus.
Is the training they offer worth $19,000 or not?
If you get a job, I guess it is worth it.
Some people do find jobs and some don't find jobs.

Welcome Jesus to your town.
Give praise to him.

It's snowing and the sun is shining.
It is a *typical* Nebraska morning.

Did you read the story about the
unemployed GM worker that found a new job
as a professional bowler ?
He won .
Yes, go after your dreams.
Now is your chance.

We are at war.
Good against evil.
Who will win?
Be on the winning side.
Be with the Lord and his winning team.
He is all powerful.
It is not really much of a contest.
Good will win.
There is no doubt about it.

I heard about 3 people losing their jobs recently.
One of the people gave me a phone interview
for a software engineer job on May 15, 2009.
Pray for them and their families.

"Meanwhile throughout all Judea,

in the fear of the Lord;
at the same time
it enjoyed the increased consolation
of the Holy Spirit."
Acts 9:31

We need peace.
We need consolation.
Come, Holy Spirit.
Bring us your grace and peace.

Yesterday I was reading chapter 11
of the book "What Color Is Your Parachute?"

I'm spending way too much time on Facebook lately.
You start to read and before you know it
an hour has gone by.
I need to set a time limit.

Jesus said to Philip and Andrew,
"I solemnly assure you,
unless the grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies,
it remains just a grain of wheat.
But if it dies,
it produces much fruit.
The person who loves their life loses it,
while the person who hates their life in this world
preserves it to life eternal.
If anyone would serve me,
let them follow me;
where I am, there will my servant be."
John 12:24-26

Following Jesus takes effort.
It takes sacrifice.
You give up things in this world
to gain an eternal world.
Serve the Lord.

We are getting snow again this morning.
Yesterday I bought flood insurance for my house.
There is a lot of snow
that will melt in the next few weeks.

Most of the time lately I use bing.com
to do my Internet searches.
Sometimes I use lycos.com and sometimes google.com.
Lycos.com was *THE* search engine
when the Internet was young in the 1990's.

Zechariah said,
"We should serve him devoutly
and through all our days
be holy in his sight."
Luke 1:75

Think about your life.
Think about why you are here on earth.
Serve the Lord gladly.
Be devoted to him.
Be holy.
Concentrate... concentrate...

You can choose life or death.
Choose life with Jesus.

Someone showed me this video last night.
The baseball hits a bird.

I could not get rid of the virus on my PC yesterday
so I did a restore of my hard drive to February 6th.
I backup my PC each week.
I think the virus came from FaceBook.com
which I just started to use in the last week.
Then again... my PC just crashed at 8:10 AM.
That is not good.
I still have some issue with my PC.

I might have a virus on my main Windows XP PC,
so I'm doing a full scan of the hard drive right now.
I disconnected the network connection also.

Do the right thing.
Do the will of God.
Scan for the evil and delete it.
There is much to be done
for the kingdom of God.

It was very interesting and changed the company.
He even got fired on his first day somewhere.

Here is a strange video from Caen France I found yesterday.
It has a gravestone marker that says James A. Ryan
from the D-Day invasion in 1944.
I don't know what the people are saying about the marker.
I don't speak French.
In the movie "Saving Private Ryan"
they were trying to save Private James Francis Ryan.
The two names are very close.
The name in the movie is fictional .
You can also drive around Caen France
and see the town from street level.

Yesterday around 4:45 PM someone stole a laptop computer
from a kiosk at the Westroads Mall in Omaha.
Many people were around.
They did not catch the person.
Pray for the thief and the victim of the crime.

"One of the criminals hanging
in crucifixion blasphemed Jesus:
'Aren't you the Messiah?
Then save yourself and us.'
But the other one rebuked him:
'Have you no fear of God,
seeing you are under the same sentence?
We deserve it, after all.
We are only paying the price
for what we've done,
but this man has done nothing wrong.'
He then said,
'Jesus, remember me when you enter your reign.'
And Jesus replied,
'I assure you:
this day you will be with me in paradise.'"
Luke 23:39-43

They call him the good thief.
He asked the Lord to save him in his dying moments.
Jesus forgave him and took him to heaven.
Don't give up on anyone.
There is always hope.
Jesus, come and save us.
Come and save the lost.

at the Holiday Inn near
72 and Grover from 1 PM to 5 PM.

I finished the SCJP book on Friday.
Now I need to take the Java Certification test.

fulfill your ministry."

You are called to serve.
That is your ministry.
God gives you talents to help others.
Fulfill your destiny.

It feels much colder outside this morning.

I saw the end of the Super Bowl last night.
I missed the first half.
The Saints won.
I was watching at a relative's house and
it was time-delayed as we studied
some of the commercials by replaying them.
The Tim Tebow ad did not seem controversial at all.
Why was there such a big protest?
That's part of the Super Bowl I guess ---
lots of hype.

Jesus taught,
"Blest shall you be when people hate you,
when they ostracize you and insult you and
proscribe your name as evil
because of the Son of Man.
On the day they do so, rejoice and exult,
for your reward shall be great in heaven."
Luke 6:22-23

Controversy goes with being a follower of Jesus.
You will be given a hard time.
Hang in there.
Keep the faith.
In the end you will be a saint in heaven.

He literally waited for the Lord.
