One day there will be a judgment.
Will you be with Jesus or not?
Give your heart to him.
Ask for forgiveness of your sins.
Live for the Lord.
Rise up.

and I had Pacific Street all to myself.

certain Jews conspired to kill Saul,
but their plot came to his attention."
Acts 9:23-24

Saul/Paul suffered much for his faith.
Many tried to kill him.
They stoned him once and left him for dead.
Stand up for your faith.
The Lord will give you strength
to continue your mission.
The Lord is with you.

Jesus told this story.

Rejoice and be glad.
Find new life.
Celebrate the reason for the season.
Have a joyous Christmas this year.

Yesterday I was watching a program on Machu Picchu .
It is located in Peru on a mountain top.
It was built by the Inca.

It is interesting to read the comments of people
on the Upper Room daily readings.
Have joy and peace this Christmas.

"Then Jesus went out to the mountain to pray,
spending the night in communion with God.
At daybreak he called his disciples and
selected twelve of them to be his apostles..."
Luke 6:12-13

Pray before you make big decisions.
The Lord will help you.
Seek his knowledge and counsel.
He is all that you need.

They would not believe in him.

Have complete assurance.
God hears your prayers.
He will shake things up.
You will be moved.
Have confidence in God's holy word.

the movie on Mahatma Gandhi .
There is much that can be accomplished
with fasting and prayer.

"Then Jesus was led into the desert by the Spirit
to be tempted by the devil.
He fasted forty days and forty nights,
and afterward was hungry."
Matthew 4:1-2

Do you ever fast?
Do you ever think about it?
Seek the Lord.
Come closer to Jesus with fasting and prayer.

I was talking to someone in Texas yesterday.
They asked me to pray for rain.
The lakes are drying up .
He said they fine people $1K
for watering their lawn in Frisco.
Lord, please send rain to Texas.

"God has willed to make known to them

which this mystery brings to the Gentiles ---
the mystery of Christ in you,
your hope of glory."
Colossians 1:27

It is no secret.
Open your heart to the truth.
Invite Christ into your heart.
He is your hope of glory.
