Hope is very important in life.
You need hope to survive and thrive.

Someone the other day pointed out that the cross
is THE great plus sign +++
a very positive thing for all eternity.

"The grace of God has appeared,
offering salvation to all men.
It trains us to reject godless ways
and worldly desires, and live temperately,
justly, and devoutly in this age
as we await our blessed hope,
the appearing of the glory of the great God
and of our Savior Christ Jesus.
It was he who sacrificed himself for us,
to redeem us from all unrighteousness
and to cleanse for himself a people of his own,
eager to do what is right."
Titus 2:11-14

Our hope is in Christ.
Believe in him.
Trust in him.

Someone I knew from church many years ago passed away.
She was not that old.
Pray for her and her family.

It is Good Friday.

as we remember what Jesus has done for us.

Jesus completed his work on earth.
He made the ultimate sacrifice.

Palm Sunday was yesterday.
They ran out of palms at my church.
It is Holy Week.
Set aside time to think about
all that Jesus has done for you.
He is most generous.

"Then, taking bread and giving thanks,
he broke it and gave it to them, saying:
'This is my body to be given for you.
Do this in remembrance of me.'
He did the same with the cup after eating,
saying as he did so:
'This cup is the new covenant in my blood,
which will be shed for you.'"
Luke 22:19-20

Jesus shed his blood to cover our sins.
Give thanks to him.
He died to give us life.
Thank you, Jesus.

Jesus came to Jerusalem with great joy.
Many people welcomed him in celebration.
He is the Savior of the world.
Spend time walking with him.
There is so much to share.

Stay awake.
Be alert.
Pray often.

Walk in the light.
You can see what you are doing.
You will not stumble and fall.
You don't want to get hurt.
Live in the light of the Lord always.

I found out the other day that my neighbor has cancer.
God bless her and her family and the doctors
as they try to figure out how to treat it.

"From Paphos, Paul and his companions put out to sea

One day we will return home.
We are only here for a short time.
We will sail for our destination.
Let us make the most of our time here.

Today I created the 5 recovery discs for my PC.
It took about an hour.
You can only do it once.
You can restore the PC to the original settings
using these 5 DVDs if it crashes.

Be aware of your status.
God loves you very much.
You are his child.
Receive his love daily.
Be restored.

I started up the new PC last night.
I'm testing it out this morning.
I ran 30 or 40 Windows updates on it.
It has a free 60-day trial of Norton anti-virus.
Now I have to install many things that I use.
I did install Office 365.
That was easy.
It found my printer/scanner.
I scanned 2 documents and saved them as PDFs.
Not too bad.
It did not have my favorites for Internet Explorer.
I have to copy them from the old PC running Windows 8.
The keyboard is slightly different.

I saw the eye doctor yesterday afternoon.
The pressure in the right eye is too high still.
He gave me some new eye drops to help control that.
God bless him and all those in his office.

"Happy is the man who reads this prophetic message,

There are warnings.
We do see things happening.
Listen to the prompting of the Lord.
The time to act is now.
Be happy.

The other day I got a new Windows 8 PC .
I have not bought a PC in many years.

"At one point, children were brought to him
so that he could place his hands on them in prayer.
The disciples began to scold them, but Jesus said,
'Let the children come to me.
Do not hinder them.
The kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'
And he laid his hands on their heads
before he left that place."
Matthew 19:13-15

God bless the children.
Bring your children to the Lord for blessings.
Place your hands on them in prayer.
Be a child of God.

Did you see The Bible
on the History Channel on Sunday night?
You see that God was calling people to lead his people.
It takes faith to follow the Lord.

I was at Bergan Mercy Hospital last night to visit a relative.
Every time a baby is born
they play a few notes in the hallway of
Jonannes Brahms - Lullaby .
My niece works there as a nurse with the babies.
God bless all the sick people at the hospital.
Heal them, Lord.
God bless the doctors and nurses.

"Then Jesus addressed this parable to them:
'Who among you, if he has a hundred sheep
and loses one of them,
does not leave the 99 in the wasteland
and follow the lost one until he finds it?
And when he finds it,
he puts it on his shoulders in jubilation.'"
Luke 15:3-5

Jesus is looking for you.
You are lost.
He is searching to rescue you from danger.
Be found.
Run to him.
Be born anew.

Yesterday I loaded the latest version of Eclipse
on my Windows 8 PC.
It looks nice.
I also loaded the latest Java JDK .
Java is at up to
java version "1.7.0_15" now.

The Lord will show you things.
Keep your eyes open.
There is much to learn.

My vision is coming back little by little
in my right eye.
The blur is going away and almost gone.
With glasses I can read again with that eye.

"That night the Lord appeared
at Paul's side and said:

It is time.
The Lord will send you.
