Yesterday morning I heard the explosions of those trying to blowup the ice jams on the rivers.
It is springtime here in the midlands.
That is something like the sin in our lives. It is hard to break it up. We call on the Lord to free us from our bondage to sin.

Please pray that the flooding of the rivers around Omaha will not be too serious. There have been ice jams on the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers in the last few days.

The Space Shuttle is updating the Hubble Telescope to see even more of what is out there. Now they say there are billions more galaxies that we can see. That's quite a lot. Just take a look at this picture that took 10 days to take.

A few days ago I filled out the "Nonprofit Corporation Biennial Report" for the State of Nebraska . Every two years you report the officers and directors for the organization. The fee is $20. The check is made payable to the "Secretary of State" .

Yesterday I checked Post Office Box 991 and found an envelope that I had mailed a few weeks ago. It was sent back to me for postage due. I had cut out a perfectly good stamp from a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) that was too small to put on a larger envelope. I taped the stamp on with scotch tape . I guess that is a "no no", so you can learn from my mistake.

Wednesday is Ash Wednesday . Let this be a special season when we turn back to the Lord. He suffered and died for us. Let us turn our thoughts to Jesus. Set aside a special time each day to pray to God and read his holy words in the Bible.

Today I was thinking about goals for Spring To Life in 1997. One goal would be to have at least 2 advertisements in the Omaha World-Herald. This would cost around $2000. Another goal would be to continue to use the Internet to reach people in cyberspace. This costs about $40 per month. That is all I've come up with at the moment.

The snow is just about all melted and there are little lakes in the backyards. I ask that our hearts will be melted too. We have such cold hearts. Let us learn to love even our enemies. Let us love those who are not the same race as we are. We are to love as little childern. Heaven help us.
