I worked for 2 hours last evening on my

The branches are piled 6 feet high and
20 feet long along the curb ( or some people
call it a 'berm'). The city will come
some day and pick it up.
About every street that I see looks just like mine.
The back yard still needs
lots of help. I called the power company
OPPD last night to tell them about the
electric power line that is still down to the
street light pole in front of my house.

The central part of Omaha is still
without electricity.
The main East/West street in Omaha is Dodge Street
The traffic lights from 62 Street
to 33 Street were out. This makes for
a very long drive through town.
It will take a long time to recover
from this. It will take months to
haul away the tree branches that
are nearly everywhere you look.
Some people have had their electric meters
pulled off the side of their houses,
so they need to get an electrical contractor
to put it back on.
are sons of God. You did not receive
a spirit of slavery leading you back into fear,
but a spirit of adoption through which
we cry out, 'Abba!' (that is, 'Father').
The Spirit himself gives witness with our
spirit that we are children of God.

Hello!
We are still alive here in
Omaha
.
Overnight we got about 10 inches of snow.
The leaves are still on the trees
and lots of trees have fallen down.
The sun is shining now.
About 70,000 people have lost their power.
The power line is down on the north side
of my house.
That line goes to the street light.
The neighbors helped each other and have been
using power saws to cut the big branches up.
I have a little saw to cut the branches
which works good too, but I am tired!
I kept praying that no one would be hurt
by falling trees or power lines.
My heart is racing even now.
I was scared. I have 3 trees surrounding my house
and I thought about going to the basement
to sleep, since I might get crushed by a big branch.
They are cancelling school for tomorrow.
