Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for,
the conviction of things not seen.
For by it the men of old received divine approval.
By faith we understand that the world
was created by the word of God,
so that what is seen was made
out of things which do not appear.
Jesus, we hope one day to live with you.
We hope that your kingdom will come.
We hope that you will come again.
We pray for peace in the world and our lives.
But we do not see these things.
We trust in you, Jesus, to bring these things into being.
Strengthen our faith, O Lord.
Make us to stand firm in our beliefs in you.
Give us the grace to witness to our faith.
You are our hope.
By faith let us change the world.
By faith let us make the world a better place.
May we change just one soul today.
May we come closer to you, Jesus.
Jesus, we see the stars that you have made.
Make our faith to be as brilliant as these stars.
Make us into your image.
We are your sons and daughters.
Wash our sins away.
Give us new life.
Give us new faith.
You are all that we need.
Come Lord Jesus and change us.
