If the wicked man turns away
from all the sins he committed,
if he keeps all my statutes
and does what is right and just,
he shall surely live,
he shall not die.
None of the crimes he committed
shall be remembered against him;
he shall live because of the virtue
he has practiced.
Jesus, forgive our sins.
Help us to turn away from evil.
Help us to live a holy life.
Purge the evil thoughts from our minds.
Bless this time of Lent.
We ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to change us.
Burn away all the evil ways.
Open a new window for us.
Bring in some fresh air.
Renew us by the Holy Spirit.
Wash away all that is not of you, O Lord.
We continue to fall.
Restore us, O Lord.
Bring us back to life.
Give us your life.
You are all that we need.
Show us what is important to do.
Lead us in your ways, O Lord.
Help us to follow you.
Have mercy on us, O Lord.
Grant us eternal life one day.
Thank you for all that you have done for us.
